STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., Sept. 14, 2026 — Katrina Manetta, Democratic candidate for Michigan’s 58th House District, today announced endorsements from Leaders We Deserve and Communications Workers of America (CWA) District 4, adding additional national support for a new generation of political leadership and organized labor to her campaign.
Leaders We Deserve is a grassroots organization focused on helping elect young leaders to Congress and state legislatures across the country. The organization works with endorsed candidates on areas including fundraising, messaging, scheduling, and campaign strategy as it seeks to build the next generation of elected leadership.
CWA District 4 covers Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin and includes union members working across telecommunications, public services, and other industries. The district’s political program works to build workers’ political power and support candidates and policies that defend workers’ rights.

The endorsements build on support Manetta has received from labor unions, community organizations, advocacy groups, and Democratic leaders at the local, state and national levels.

Michigan’s 58th House District includes parts of Sterling Heights, Warren, Utica and Shelby Township and is widely considered one of the most competitive districts in the state.
