STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., May 19, 2026 — Katrina Manetta today announced the endorsement of the Michigan Working Families Party in her campaign for Michigan’s 58th State House district.
The endorsement adds to growing momentum behind Manetta’s campaign and reflects support for her focus on lowering costs for working families, strengthening public safety, protecting workers’ rights, and delivering practical solutions rooted in local experience.
“I’m honored to have the support of the Michigan Working Families Party,” said Manetta. “This campaign has always been about the people who feel like they’ve been ignored by politics for too long. I know what it’s like to struggle, to worry about bills, and to feel like the system isn’t built for working people anymore. I’m running because it shouldn’t be this way, and I’m ready to fight for a government that actually works for the people it serves.”
Manetta is a lifelong resident of the district, service worker, and community organizer who has built her campaign around the everyday concerns facing families in Macomb County, including affordability, infrastructure, public safety, and access to opportunity.
The Working Families Party is a nationwide grassroots organization that supports candidates focused on economic justice, workers’ rights, and accountable government.
Michigan’s 58th House District includes parts of Sterling Heights, Warren, Utica and Shelby Township and is widely considered one of the most competitive districts in the state.
