STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., May 5, 2026 — Katrina Manetta today announced endorsements from a group of Oakland County leaders in her campaign for Michigan’s 58th State House District, signaling growing regional support for her candidacy.
“It means a lot to have the support of leaders from across our region who are doing real work in their communities,” Manetta said. “This race may be in Macomb County, but the momentum we’re building reaches far beyond.”
“I’ve spent my career in community development, building job training programs, working on economic policy, pushing for transparency in government,” said Oakland County Commissioner Charlie Cavell. “So when I see someone who built a 1,300-person organization from scratch in Macomb County, I pay attention. Katrina Manetta isn’t waiting for a title to do the work. She’s already doing it. That tells me everything I need to know about how she’ll serve in Lansing.”

Manetta, a lifelong Macomb County resident and service worker, is running on a platform focused on lowering the cost of living, strengthening public safety and education, protecting access to healthcare, and delivering practical solutions for local families.
Michigan’s 58th House District includes parts of Sterling Heights, Warren, Utica and Shelby Township and is widely considered one of the most competitive districts in the state.
